Protect the freedom of archive.org and internet users everywhere!
From BinaryFreedom.INFO
A Colorado woman has sued archive.org for "illegally" archiving her site. The judge accepted the motion to dismiss all claims except those under breach of contract. The woman claims that since she put a message on her site telling sites not to spider her, it was breach of contract even though she could have use robots.txt to stop it. Does it sound stupid to you? If the judge rules in her favor, internet users and spiders will have to ask permission of websites before creative archives (visiting them and storing them in your browser cache). We are asking you to contact her to tell her that she is threatening free speech and to perform an act of civil disobedience by visiting her website (profane-justice.org) and printing out a copy of her home page.

Sample letter:
Dear Suzanne Shell,
I am outraged to hear that you have filed suit against "The Internet Archive" archive.org. Many people have tried to launch similar claims against web spiders and lost. You talk about family rights but you use every opportunity presented to you to quash the rights of online users. As a citizen of the online community, I will do everything in my power to stop your incorrect claims about computer contracts. In an act of civil disobedience, I downloaded a copy of your website to by hard drive by viewing it and storing it in my web browser's cache. I have also taken the additional step of printing out a copy of a page on your website as an act of civil disobedience. I believe your legal claims to be baseless and I am not deterred by them. I will boycott your services until you drop this frivolous lawsuit against the non-profit organization archive.org and other parties as well as issue a public apology.
Sincerely,
YOURNAMEHERE
